You also become super-efficient from tackling these tasks over and over again, and working them into your daily lists and game-playing in different ways.

An old or slightly used up piece of sandpaper will work just fine, just make sure you wash your scissors with warm, soapy water once you’re done sharpening! For the last six weeks or so, I’ve been touring around with CIL paints and visiting with DIYers at a bunch of different Home Depots to help people get over their “paint paralysis”.You know what I mean: It’s when you’re terrified to start painting a room for fear of picking the wrong colour and having to do everything all over again.

If you just want a nice paint colour that you know will work and make your home look instantly refreshed and updated, I’m here to help!.

In my last few weeks of helping people choose paint colours, I’ve of course spent time talking to people from all different walks of life, with different homes, and different tastes. This gave me the ruffly effect.

Each strip was 5 inches wide to make the cord cover 2 inches wide and allow a 1/2 inch for the seams. So if my cord was 60 inches long, that means that each strip was 45 inches by 5 inches.. Once I had my strips all cut out.

I ironed a little fold over to finish up the ends of each piece and sewed them all up.. Then I folded the whole thing in half, then I sewed along the edge using black thread because I didn’t feel like changing the bobbins, then one of my bobbins ran out halfway through so I had to change it anyway.I put another black in for consistency.
